THE BIG PICTURE
It's important to think about the big picture when it comes to productivity. Even if you are being extremely efficient, focused and organised, you won't achieve anything substantial if you are pursuing the wrong activities or doing things that aren't right for you. Asking yourself some deep, reflective questions can help give you a sense of clarity and confidence that you are pursuing the right things.
Here are some questions that are worth asking:
Have I really found my true calling?
Why is what I do so important to me? How would I feel if I did something else instead?
Does my job and career allow me to use my unique skill-set and personality?
It's important to do what's right for you. It's only when you're doing what you love and what suits you perfectly that you can reach your full potential.
Find Your True Calling:
THE ULTIMATE STRATEGY
Workload - Are you doing too much?
Doing too much can sometimes hinder your productivity. Do less, but better. In his book 'Essentialism' Greg McKeown says: "Almost everything is noise, and a very few things are exceptionally valuable." Remove non-essential activities to free up time that you can spend on the few essential things that really matter.
